We have a successful fundraising initiative that is seeking no longer required mechanical, electrical or battery operated equipment to be disposed of by the Association. $2500 earmarked for Hobart City High School
At the April meeting, The Old Scholars committee resolved to make available to the school $2500 for them to propose an appropriate use. This is in addition to allocations for prizes for student achievements and reflects recent successful fundraising efforts by the Old Scholars committee.
Tour of the New Town Campus $20M redevelopment

The Solar Challenge pits the skills of students statewide and nationally to build and race solar powered model vehicles and boats. Building engineering and modern technology skills as well as cooperation and organisation are primary aims for students.
