Welcome to NTHOSA news!

During the planning for the Centenary Celebration events, the committee decided that an old scholars’ association was needed.

Various groups of former scholars meet from time to time, however (since OTOS) there hasn’t been an overall group to join.

Several hundred signed up for more information on the school site, and that is why you are receiving this newsletter.

About NTHOSA and its aims

New Town High Old Scholars Association is open to former scholars of Hobart Junior Technical School, Hobart Technical High School and New Town High School.

Briefly, NTHOSA is designed to connect former scholars and assist the school. More information about the aims of NTHOSA here.

NTHS will be offering Years 11 and 12 from 2020. One example of how you can get involved: Principal Dave Kilpatrick is seeking mentors for students and would like to hear from you.

Meanwhile, make sure you are subscribed to the newsletter and share this with your old school friends.

If you own or manage a business and would like to be involved please contact us here.

The costs of our website and membership management system have been made possible by the generous support of Lennard McLure Real Estate.

John Lennard and his son Johnnie specialise in helping people buy, sell and rent real estate in Southern Tasmania.

We thank them for this and look forward to their continuing involvement with NTHOSA.
